「Section 1」

In our first session, Sing guided us through the process of creating our own blogs, starting with the basics of incorporating photos and headlines. As we delved deeper into the lesson, Sing introduced us to the fascinating concept of linking the blog’s cover to our articles—an aspect that caught my attention. I found this technique to be not only intriguing but also highly practical for establishing our personal brand or showcasing our portfolio in the future. Learning how to seamlessly connect the blog cover to our articles opened up new possibilities for presenting our content in a visually appealing and cohesive manner. It allowed us to guide readers through a captivating visual journey, enticing them to explore the different facets of our work. The ability to create such a dynamic and interconnected online presence will undoubtedly prove invaluable as we navigate the professional landscape.

「Section 2」

Working on my own during the class tasks proved to be a manageable and fulfilling experience. I was able to navigate through the assignments with relative ease, adapting to the SketchUp software as needed. While there were moments of unfamiliarity, I found that my adaptability and willingness to explore the program allowed me to overcome any initial challenges. Engaging with SketchUp has expanded my perspective on design and art. It has demonstrated the immense potential of digital tools in translating ideas into three-dimensional visualizations. This experience has sparked a curiosity within me to further explore the capabilities of digital design and its integration with traditional art forms. I am keen to delve deeper into topics such as digital rendering techniques, virtual reality applications, and interactive design. Reflecting on today’s session, I recognize the importance of time management and organization in optimizing my workflow. Next time, I will allocate sufficient time to familiarize myself with the software and plan my tasks effectively. Additionally, I will focus on refining my digital skills, addressing any limitations I encountered during the session.

「Section 3」

It was satisfying to work on the class assignments on my own because I was able to finish them. I was able to use the AI quite easily and make CAD drawings properly. While I encountered certain difficulties along the way, such as a lack of comprehension of particular commands and procedures, I was able to solve the problems through asking Sing. The importance of accuracy, precision, and technical competence in producing detailed and expert drawings has been highlighted. My understanding of how design and functionality interact has increased as a result of this experience, which highlights the need of taking both function and aesthetics into account. In the future, I am keen to learn more about CAD tools and processes, probably in the fields of product design and architectural design.

「Section 4」

During the majority of the last session, we were given the freedom to work on our portfolio layouts independently. However, due to the unique nature of my design, I found myself investing a significant amount of time in completing my CAD drawings. Thankfully, Sing, our instructor, provided valuable assistance and guidance throughout the process.
